Dragon Queen's Dark Desire review
Colette Ramsey plays a dragon royal with a problem her bloodline shouldn't have: she can't transform. She's also engaged and already sneaking around behind her fiancé's back, so when her mother announces a possible cure, a visiting warlock with healing hands, the series stacks a second forbidden thread on top of the first. You play that warlock, and the setup promises a whole court of mystical helpers lining up to coax out her dragon form.
Episode 1 moves at a sprint and doesn't always make sense on the way. It opens mid-affair with no context, jumps straight to the mother's suggestion, and has Colette swooning before the warlock has said much more than hello. The examination is the centerpiece: his touch registers as a jolt of magic, he explains the spell won't work through fabric, and she insists he watch rather than turn away. That last beat is the episode's best moment, showing a heroine who wants to be seen. Elsewhere the dialogue is blunt in a way that undercuts the fantasy mood, and the worldbuilding amounts to a sentence or two.
