Our verdict
A restrained, nearly wordless opener that shows more than it says. The free taste is too thin to judge the story, so unlock it only if the premise alone sells you.
Best for: POV fans who want a simple, slow-building father's-girlfriend taboo
What is Dad's New Girlfriend about?
Colette, your father's much younger girlfriend, is charming, carefree, and impossible to ignore. The chemistry between you is undeniable, and every glance leaves you wondering if some lines are meant to be crossed.
Dad's New Girlfriend review
The premise is simple and squarely taboo. Colette Ramsey is your father's new partner, a woman nearer your generation than his, breezy and impossible to ignore, and the series is built around one slow question: will the glances between the two of you turn into something neither of you can take back? It's a POV setup, so you play the adult son caught between loyalty to your dad and a very obvious spark.
The free episode is almost wordless. It plays out as a morning kitchen scene over coffee, with a brief exchange about milk from the fridge, a polite refusal, and a playful aside about the coffee machine that leaves the moment hanging. That's close to all the dialogue there is, so the episode leans on atmosphere and staging rather than conversation. Depending on your taste, that's either refreshingly restrained or frustratingly thin. Either way, you learn almost nothing about Colette beyond a playful streak, and the dynamic between you never gets the chance to define itself.
Five premium episodes follow the free one, 48 tokens in total. That's a fair price for a six-part story, but the opener gives you almost nothing to judge the writing or the chemistry on, so you're really buying the taboo premise. If a father's girlfriend is exactly your fantasy, go ahead. If you need a story to earn your tokens, the free episode won't help you decide.

A quiet morning in the kitchen. Colette and you share a brief, low-key exchange over coffee: a question about milk from the fridge, a polite no thanks, and a playful aside about how far the coffee machine will tilt. Hardly anything is said, and the episode relies on atmosphere rather than dialogue or plot.
