Under Her Armor

Under Her Armor review

Here's a premise with some heart. The lead is a timid office worker whose real passion is softbunny_xo, a cosplay streamer who plays knights and lords with a wink. His boss is losing patience with his habit of watching her at his desk. Then there's Lily from Desk C, quiet and easy to overlook, until a matching bracelet suggests that the woman on his screen and the woman down the hall are the same person. The series promises a romance about guarding her double life and choosing the real her.

The opening episode is cleanly structured and surprisingly sweet. It starts mid-stream, with softbunny_xo's mock-medieval flirting delivered in a teasing, theatrical voice, then snaps to the office for a stern warning from the boss. The best beat is a quiet one: he's the only person who stops to help Lily, she thanks him like it actually matters, and his inner voice wonders why his heart is racing over 'just Lily from Desk C.' The bracelet reveal is clear and satisfying, and the final invitation from the stream lands as a promise rather than a payoff. Heat is mild; the charm is in the anticipation.

Episode 1 plays instantly and episode 2 follows after a free sign-up; the remaining three episodes cost 36 tokens. That's a fair ask for a premise this likable, and the closing invitation is a strong reason to keep watching. Romantics and fans of secret-identity stories should keep going. If you came for explicit scenes from the first minute, this isn't that show, at least not yet.
