Our verdict
Moody boss-and-intern power play with almost nothing to judge in episode 1. Unlock the rest only if the name-game dynamic is exactly your fantasy.
Best for: Fans of dominant-boss power play with a slow-burn office mood
What is My Billionaire Boss about?
He kept his new intern late, threw her presentation in the bin and asked one question: what is my name? By the time his partner saw the video, the intern already knew exactly what she was worth.
My Billionaire Boss review
This community-made series runs on a classic office power dynamic. Damian Kane is the billionaire boss, a man who expects to be obeyed and, more pointedly, expects his new intern to drop the formalities when he says so. She's an adult employee he keeps at the office long after hours. The synopsis teases where things go: a presentation tossed in the bin, a video his partner eventually sees, and an intern who learns exactly how much leverage she holds.
Episode 1 is almost wordless, which makes it hard to assess. The dialogue that does exist is purely about control: he tells her she isn't leaving until the presentation is finished, she reports that it's done, and he asks for his name, refusing the formal version until she uses his first name. It's a compact, effective beat, and the switch from Mr. Kane to Damian carries real charge. But there's no sense yet of either character beyond that exchange, and no story to speak of. Atmosphere does the heavy lifting; the script barely shows up.
Episode 1 plays instantly and episode 2 opens with a free sign-up, which is worth doing before deciding; the remaining three episodes are premium at 36 tokens. The synopsis hints at a turn in which the intern gains the upper hand, which sounds more interesting than anything shown so far. Fans of dominant-boss fantasies may find the name game enough to keep going. Everyone else is buying almost entirely on the premise.

Working late under orders not to leave until her presentation is done, the intern tells Mr. Kane she's finished. He asks her what his name is, and she answers formally. Unsatisfied, he asks again, and she finally calls him Damian, a small shift that signals the boundaries between them are starting to give.
