Brooke Madison is a pro wrestler fighting to save a career that someone has already decided should end. The woman across the ring has been paid to finish her, and the twist is that she seems to have other plans. It's an enemies-to-lovers setup between two women, staged on the canvas rather than in the bedroom, with the attraction promised by the premise still simmering under the grudge.
The free episodes play like a gritty sports drama. Episode one is a match with the fix out in the open: the rival works Brooke's injured shoulder while telling her the result is booked, then, strangely, urges her to fight back. Episode two delivers the fallout, a tense backstage face-off over who was paid what (“Not enough”) and a promoter's ultimatum that puts a 30-day clock on a rematch with both careers at stake. The dialogue is terse and punchy, which suits the short format, but there's almost no heat yet; the chemistry is all glares and grudging respect.
