Your girlfriend Ava is best friends with your stepsister, Camilla Azarian, and two years of that arrangement have left you quietly fixated on the wrong woman. When Ava declares a women-only movie night and exiles you to the bedroom, the stage is set for a low-stakes farce, until Ava dozes off twenty minutes into the film, as she apparently always does, and Camilla decides the rules no longer apply.

Setup dominates the opening episode, which plays instantly. The narration is blunt about the lead's feelings in a way some will find refreshingly direct and others a bit crude. The fun is in the near-misses: you slip into the kitchen for water, Ava snaps that you're not allowed, and Camilla smoothly covers for you. Then comes the payoff line from the synopsis, delivered with a grin, followed by an invitation to sit down and a promise that Ava won't wake up. Camilla is more mischievous than seductive here, which suits the sneaky tone.

The hook is solid and the risk-of-discovery premise has obvious room to build, but there's not much character depth on show in the opener.
