Daisy Brannock arrives unannounced at her stepbrother's apartment with a suitcase and Dad's blessing to stay all summer. The catch is the girlfriend he lives with, and the bigger catch is a secret the two step-siblings share from the night of their parents' wedding. Daisy, an adult with zero interest in boundaries, hasn't come to forget it. She's come to make it a habit, and she plays household agent of chaos with total commitment.
Subtlety is not on the menu in the two free episodes. Daisy flirts with her stepbrother and his girlfriend in the same breath, announces she needs a shower and wanders back out in a towel, leaving the girlfriend sputtering about why she's in their apartment at all. The outrageousness is played for comedy, and it mostly works. Episode 2 opens on an openly charged moment, then lands its best beat: when he insists the wedding was a one-time thing, Daisy asks why he thinks she came, and adds that the girlfriend is welcome to join. Dialogue is crude in places and the boyfriend barely registers, but Daisy is vivid.
Where it's heading is no mystery, since the synopsis spells out the girlfriend storyline, and the remaining three episodes run 36 tokens. The cliffhanger is more offer than twist, but it's a pointed one. If you like a cheerfully shameless lead and a premise built on nearly getting caught, keep going. If you prefer a slow burn or emotional stakes, Daisy's full-throttle approach may wear thin.
