Our verdict
A gentler, more emotional take on forbidden attraction with a smart journal device; promising, though 96 tokens for the premium stretch is a real commitment.
Best for: Romantics who like confessional, slow-burn forbidden attraction
What is Your girlfriend's younger sister about?
Mila never meant to want her sister’s boyfriend, until late-night journaling turns into jealous glances, and a secret connection she's never felt with anyone before.
Your girlfriend's younger sister review
Mila is an adult woman with a problem she can only admit on paper: she wants her sister's boyfriend, and that's you. Her sister trusts her completely, which is exactly what makes every glance feel dangerous. The series is built around her late-night journaling, a confessional device that lets Mila narrate a desire she'd never voice and puts you in the position of the one person who might read it.
Heat takes a back seat to feeling here. Mila's opening confession sets the stakes plainly, then a tussle over the journal ('Then stop writing things you want me to notice') introduces a teasing, slightly combative rapport. The dialogue lurches at times, swinging from calling you a jerk to musing about how intimate writing feels within a few lines, but there's a sincerity to her voice that most taboo setups skip. The real turn arrives late, when you confide that you and her sister have discussed opening the relationship, and admit there's someone you can't stop thinking about. It's an unusually grown-up complication for something this short.
Value is the tricky part. This is a ten-episode arc: episode 1 plays instantly, episode 2 after a free sign-up, and the eight premium episodes beyond cost 96 tokens, nearly a full month of Premium's allowance. The open-relationship twist is a genuinely interesting hook that could steer the story somewhere less predictable than plain cheating. Romantics who like emotional slow-burns should take the chance; viewers who want things to escalate quickly will find the pace too patient.
