A cheeky, fast-moving cheating comedy that knows exactly what it is. Worth the 36 tokens if you like playful caregiver tension with a wife one phone call away.
Best for: Fans of playful cheating setups with a confident caregiver lead
What is My Wife Hired My Nurse about?
Jake, 35, breaks both hands. His wife books a home nurse — 'some sixty-year-old grandma' — and leaves for work. Mila walks in: 30, blonde, blue uniform, top button open. Everything he can't do, she does. And his wife never sees her.
My Wife Hired My Nurse review
Jake has broken both hands, so his wife books a home nurse before leaving for work and reassures him the agency is sending a woman in her sixties. The carer who lets herself in is Mila Nowak, thirty, unhurried and very much in charge of a patient who cannot so much as hold a cup. The setup is simple and effective: a man who is helpless, married and suddenly very aware of both facts, and a nurse who treats “special treatment” as a running joke with a second meaning.
The free episodes get a lot out of a lean script. Episode one lands its opening gag, the gap between the grandmother he was promised and the woman at the door, and Mila’s outfit change is the moment the series shows its hand. Episode two adds the best tension device so far: his wife calls to check in while the nurse is busy being “very thorough,” and his half-hearted reminder that he is married fools nobody, least of all him. The dialogue is short and functional, more wink than wit, but Mila’s calm confidence carries every scene.
Three premium episodes remain, 36 tokens in total, the price of a standard series. The free part ends on an open invitation, and the wife’s promise to be home by seven gives the paid episodes a built-in ticking clock. Recommended for fans of forbidden, cheating setups with a playful tone; skip it if you want story beyond the premise, because the free episodes offer nothing more.
Scores
What works
- The promised-grandmother gag is a sharp, funny opener
- The wife’s check-in call adds real cheating tension
- A clear ticking clock with the wife home by seven
What doesn’t
- Dialogue is thin and leans almost entirely on innuendo
- Not much story beyond the premise in the free episodes
How we score: our review method. Scores reflect the free episodes and the series’ price, not the paid episodes we have not watched.
My Wife Hired My Nurse episode guide
5 episodes, about 1:02 each. Episodes 1 and 2 play instantly without an account.
- Episode 1Free1:04
His wife heads to work after promising the agency is sending a nurse in her sixties. The woman who lets herself in is Mila, decidedly not sixty. She sizes up her patient, both hands in casts and nowhere to hide, changes into something more practical and makes it clear his treatment will be special.
- Episode 2Free1:00
A routine check-up turns into something else while his wife phones to ask how the nurse is working out. “Very thorough,” he says, and she promises to be home by seven. His protest that he is married does not slow Mila down: she has hours left and a better angle in mind.
