What is My Roommates are Thirsty! about?
Mona & DarkAngel aggressively pursue their new roommate!
My Roommates are Thirsty! review
You land a room in a shared house, and within seconds your new roommates have decided you're the prize. Mona Newman's Mona is the one who approves your move-in; DarkAngel, who has only just arrived herself, takes one look and wants dibs. The premise is simple and upfront about it: two women who refuse to share, competing for the same housemate, with you stuck in the middle and nobody especially interested in subtlety.
What makes it work is the comic timing. The two trade jabs like sitcom rivals, and their opening gossip about awkward family drama is tossed off as a throwaway joke rather than a plot point. Episode 2 is the stronger of the free pair: Mona turns a car wash into a performance, soaks her own shirt and calls it a totally unforeseeable tragedy, only for DarkAngel to whisk you off in the car and leave Mona locked out. The lines are quick, self-aware and more playful than steamy, and the escalating one-upmanship gives every scene a punchline.
Three premium episodes remain, 36 tokens altogether, and the rivalry is clearly building toward a choice. There's no big cliffhanger so much as an open question about who wins, but the free episodes earn enough goodwill to make that question fun. Keep going if you like competitive, comedic flirting; skip if you want slow-burn romance or a single focused couple.
Scores
What works

- Two free episodes give a fair taste of the format
- Both women have distinct, competitive personalities
What doesn’t
- Heat stays mostly at the teasing level in the free part
- Your character is a passive prize with not much to do
How we score: our review method. Scores reflect the free episodes and the series’ price, not the paid episodes we have not watched.
