Our verdict
A sharp, double-entendre-laden office power-play with a formidable director; worth unlocking for fans of dominant bosses, less so if job-on-the-line leverage bothers you.
Best for: Fans of dominant-boss office power-play with a witty edge
What is Yes, Director about?
A junior male employee is publicly disciplined and privately selected by the married woman who controls his career.
Yes, Director review
In a tense team meeting, a married director tears into her underperforming staff and catches one junior employee staring somewhere other than her slides. Diana Demont's character holds every card: her husband owns the company and replaces people before they finish their coffee. She offers the offender exactly one way out, an evening presentation in her office where he'll do precisely as he's told.
Two free episodes give the series room to show its wit, and the second is the standout. Diana's call to her husband, warning him she'll be stuck at the office late, frames the evening neatly, and the Q3 pitch that follows is a clever running double entendre, with corporate jargon about pushing the team harder and never cutting the soft part first doing a lot of suggestive work. Her put-downs are crisp, and his constant 'Yes, Director' becomes a comic refrain. The first episode is blunter and its job-threat leverage a touch cartoonish, but she makes a commanding, convincing lead, and the tension between public humiliation and private favoritism is well drawn.
Three premium episodes remain, 36 tokens to unlock them all. The free part ends with her deciding he'll work off his latest mistake, a cliffhanger that promises the power dynamic is only getting started. Fans of dominant-boss fantasies, office cheating and dialogue with a wink should keep going. If coercive workplace leverage is a dealbreaker even as fantasy, this one won't win you over.

- Episode 2Free0:58
Diana tells her husband she'll be working late, then scolds her employee for arriving behind schedule.
