Our verdict
A pleasant, chatty opener that plants its stepmom hook lightly; fair value at 36 tokens, though the opening episode undersells the series' own premise.
Best for: Fans of playful, slow-building stepmom temptation
What is Riley First, Regina Next about?
What begins as a series of steamy nights with Riley takes an unexpected turn when her alluring stepmother, Regina, makes her interest known. Playful teasing soon gives way to a tempting entanglement neither of them is ready to end.
Riley First, Regina Next review
You're Jack, and things with your girlfriend Riley, an adult buried in deadlines who loves to gush about you, are going great. Then she brings you along to reconnect with Regina, the stepmother she hasn't seen in two years, and Regina doesn't bother hiding that she likes what she sees. The premise promises a slow slide from harmless teasing into an entanglement neither woman is in a hurry to end.
For now, it's more relationship comedy than seduction. Lived-in morning banter opens the episode: Riley dragging you out of bed, a fussy outfit check, mock outrage. Regina arrives late with warm hugs and a pointed remark about how handsome you are, and the shift in temperature is noticeable even in a few lines. Most of the episode, though, belongs to Riley's breathless account of how sweet you've been, including a two-hour drive just to bring her coffee. It's charming and naturalistic, but Regina, the title's real draw, barely appears before Riley suggests everyone dance.
Episode 2 is free with a sign-up, and the three premium episodes after it cost 36 tokens, so the arc fits easily into one Premium month. The dance invitation is a soft cliffhanger, but the title makes the direction clear, and there's a nice irony in Riley singing your praises while Regina sizes you up. Keep going if you like a warm, playful build where the forbidden element creeps in sideways. Skip if you want the stepmom angle front and center from the first minute.
